Confession: I don't care about real estate (my true priorities revealed)

short term rental

I face a real dilemma when I talk to you about vacation homes.

I'm a real estate guy. For 23 years it's all I've been focused on ever since my first experience getting that wholesaling check in my 20's. (That story is here).

I talk a LOT about real estate, because that's the world I'm swimming in. If you've attended any of my webinars, you know I can talk TOO much about real estate for hours.

But most people who haven't experienced a life in real estate don't really understand WHY I do this.

I don't care about real estate.

I'm not someone who was drawing houses on my papers in school growing up. I've never swung a hammer for a job, and I'm not that realtor who's always posting on their social media about interest rates and property taxes.

I don't...care.

I care about life.

I care about being able to say yes when my daughter Grace gets invited to the Royal Ballet in London (we're going as a family this summer and she could not be more excited).

I care about being able to coach 2 basketball teams weekly and instill the value of always giving your best effort in my son Wyatt and his friends.

I care about being able to connect with my wife Teresa every morning before the world wakes up, or being able to spend a whole Saturday in our backyard hot tub with each of my 3 amigos.

I care about fishing trips each year with the same buddies for a decade.

I care about being able to be instrumental in helping someone achieve their dreams.

Vacation Homes are just the vehicle.

The reason I talk so much about explaining this vehicle is I have found that most people who do not yet have their dreams have limiting beliefs about what is possible and how to get there.

You can ask them what they want and they might know, but when you ask them how they can get it they often do not have a solid plan they know will work.

So, while I want to talk about

  • Financial Freedom
  • Lifestyle Freedom
  • What's Your Why
  • and more

You'll hear me talk a lot about

  • Cash-on-Cash rate
  • Acquisition Prices
  • Off-the-Beaten Path Markets
  • etc.

Just realize, I don't care about this stuff. I care about my dreams and yours.

And if you're at all unclear on how to get there, and you haven't fully given yourself a chance to understand this asset class, to evaluate the pros and cons and have a truly clear picture in your head of what doing this would look like for you in the next 3-9 months -

I hope you'll book a call with us.

My team is trained to hold space in conversation with you so we can truly understand what matters for you and then help you understand each aspect of this path so you can evaluate if it's one you're committed to, because all the rewards come after committing.

Whatever your dreams are, ask yourself it they'd be better achieved if you had just one (or one more) profitable vacation home you found, analyzed, acquired, set up, and marketed this year, that is now churning out monthly cash flow for you. Let's help you do it!

Cheers,

Why Consider Short-Term Rental Investing?
Short term rental investing is becoming an increasingly popular way to achieve financial freedom. By investing in short term rentals can generate income while gaining the flexibility to manage your investments according to your own needs and goals. Short term rental investments allow you to not be tied down to long-term contracts, allowing you to quickly adjust your strategy to meet changing market conditions.

In addition to the flexibility of short term rental investments, you can also benefit from a relatively low barrier of entry. With short term rental investments, you are only required to invest a fraction of the traditional real estate investments. You can also benefit from a wide variety of rental options, whether you are looking to rent out an entire property, or just a portion of it. This allows you to start small and scale up as your investment portfolio grows. Short term rental investments can be a great way to achieve financial freedom in a relatively short period of time.
